R.I.P. Allen Lanier of Blue Oyster Cult
Allen Lanier, a founding member of Blue Oyster Cult, has died at the age of 67 from lung disease. BOC were one of the great hard rock acts of the 1970s with songs like Godzilla, Burnin’ For You, Cities On Flame With Rock & Roll and, of course, (Don’t Fear) The Reaper.
