R.I.P. Billy Joe Shaver

Its been a tough week for Texas…first Jerry Jeff Walker, now Billy Joe Shaver has died.

The old country outlaw suffered a stroke and has died at the age of 81. In addition to his own fine recordings, Billy wrote for fellow Outlaws such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Tom T. Hall. Another Honky Tonk Hero bites the dust.
