R.I.P. George Frayne aka Commander Cody Has Died Age 77

Commander Cody has taken that Hot Rod Lincoln in the sky. The Commander, aka George Frayne has died age 77.

Frayne led Commander Cody & The Lost Planet Airmen, the band he formed in 1967. They went on a score a handful of hits, most notably a remake of Hot Rod Lincoln in 1972. The original band split in the mid-70s but The Commander continued to rock til the end.
