R.I.P. Jim Rodford (Argent, Kinks)
Bass player Jim Rodford, who was a member of Argent, The Kinks and The Zombies, has died at age 76.
Rodford was a founding member of Argent, the band formed from the ashes of The Zombies (keyboard player Rod Argent was his cousin). Rodford went on to join The Kinks in 1978 and was recently touring with the current lineup of The Zombies.
