It is with great sadness that we report the death of Justin Townes Earle.

Here is the message we saw on his Facebook page:

It is with tremendous sadness that we inform you of the passing of our son, husband, father and friend Justin. So many of you have relied on his music and lyrics over the years and we hope that his music will continue to guide you on your journeys.
You will be missed dearly Justin

We here at The 13th Floor were big fans of his music and his songwriting. We were proud to have him stop in a few years ago and play a song at our studio. You can watch that here:
Sadly, Justin Townes Earle was just 38 years old.
