R.I.P. Kenny Rogers
Country crooner Kenny Rogers has passed away at the age of 81.
In addition to pop hits such as The Gambler, Lucille and Islands In The Stream (with Dolly Parton), Rogers led his band The First Edition through a stellar stream of country-tinged hits in the late 60s beginning with the psychedelisized Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) and including Heed The Call, Something’s Burning and our favourite Ruby (Don’t Take Your Love To Town).
