R.I.P. Lou Reed
Lou Reed has passed away at the age of 71. One of the most influential artists in rock & roll history, Lou Reed founded The Velvet Underground with John Cale in 1965 and then launched his solo career in 1971. His songs…Heroin, Perfect Day, Walk On The Wild Side, Pale Blue Eyes, Rock And Roll, I’m Waiting For The Man, Venus In Furs, Sweet Jane…have become fundamental parts of the lives of millions of people. Lou Reed had received a liver transplant earlier this year and seemed to be doing well. His most recent album was Lulu, a collaboration with Metallica.
