RIP – Jesse Winchester
Folk singer Jesse Winchester has died at the age of 69. In addition to his songs, Winchester became known for his strong anti-war stance when, in 1967, the American moved to Canada, rather than fight in the Viet Nam war. Read more about Jesse Winchester here.

Was very sad to hear of this on Saturday. Jesse had been in hospice care for a while after suffering from bladder cancer and died peacefully in his sleep. Thank you for posting this as he is still so little known and very much underrated as a musician and songwriter. Hopefully more people will be curious enough to check out his music, which is wonderful.
