RISING SINGER SONGWRITER ESHA TEWARI ANNOUNCES RHYTHM & VINES SIDESHOW IN AUCKLAND

Indie pop artist ESHA TEWARI has today announced a headline show in Auckland before her set at Rhythm and Vines festival this December.

Esha will be performing at The Tuning Fork in Auckland on Sunday December 28th.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 11am on Thursday October 2nd.

About Esha Tewari:

Esha Tewari is a 19-year-old Indie Folk singer-songwriter. Esha writes all her songs in her bedroom, and has a focus on lyricism and melody, she loves improvising and believes in writing songs that are true to her, drawing from her experiences as a teenage girl, as well as creative stories from other people’s perspectives. Esha gained popularity for her independently released song ‘beautiful boy’. Esha’s music is mainly acoustic, however with newer releases such as ‘bad decision!’, she has branched out to more layered sounds. Esha recently released the first single, ‘you were mine’ from her upcoming EP.

 

Esha started by posting some covers and original songs on her TikTok page, where a video of her singing her soon to be debut song ‘with ease’ gained traction. On February 1st, she released ‘with ease’ on all streaming platforms, and her journey as a musician began. Esha continued to post on TikTok then also began posting on her Instagram page. It was there where Esha started gaining lots of attention, with her account growing by 10k followers a week. Esha continued to post covers and original songs on her socials, and a particular video of her singing her then unreleased song ‘beautiful boy’ went viral on all platforms. People were moved by her honesty and many girls and women related and were excited for the release. Esha released ‘beautiful boy’ due to popular demand with her debut EP ‘I can’ on April 29th 2024, with all songs besides ‘I can’ recorded as a voice memo on her phone. Producer Slush Puppy worked on the song ‘I can’ adding in extra elements to the song. Esha then released her sophomore EP ‘better off’ on August 25th 2024, containing ‘bad decision!’. Producers Slush Puppy and Vitals both worked on this EP. Her most recent release ‘you were mine’ went viral on TikTok and hit over 10k uses of the sound. She released it on January 13th on all platforms, creating hype for her third upcoming EP to be released in 2025.
