The artist previously known as Young Sid is one third of iconic trio Smashproof. His latest creation, Warrior, is a powerful street anthem that reflects on survival, loyalty, and the scars that shape us.
The track blends raw memories from the streets with deep gratitude for growth and survival. Featuring fellow Smashproof member TY, Warrior is gritty, reflective, and unapologetic. It will be included in Everything, his third solo album, which will be released in early 2026. The album will mix soulful production with street poetry and themes of generational trauma, fatherhood, love, and the shifting identity of modern Polynesian men.
With a career spanning two decades, Diamond has developed a reputation for songs rooted in storytelling, representing the voices of the unheard and the struggles of his community. He first gained national recognition in Smashproof, whose breakout hit Brother remains one of Aotearoa’s most powerful urban anthems.
