Tonight, Wednesday October 18, at an esteemed event at The Grand Hall in Wellington’s Parliament Buildings, surrounded by international delegates and WOMAD advocates, WOMAD NZ announce the 2018 artist line-up.
The Americana Fest marches on! Day 3 at The Tuning Fork was a slightly lower key affair than Sunday night. Instead of nine musicians crowding the stage, as The Eastern did, last night was an evening of duos.

Reunited and proving to be as passionate as ever, Midnight Oil brought their Great Circle 2017 Tour to Auckland’s Spark Arena. Despite this being a reunion tour, there seemed to be little nostalgia on hand as the band’s songs resonate even more clearly in these unsettling times.
