The Jungle Giants – Trippin’ Up: New Song Of The Day

The Jungle Giants return with new earworm Trippin’ Up, first single and video from upcoming fifth studio album and announce NZ tour dates.

Here’s the blurb:

Absolute titans of the Australian indie world, The Jungle Giants return today with their new single and video ‘Trippin Up’.

The Jungle GiantsThis marks the first single from their upcoming fifth full-length record. The playful earworm blankets the listener in a cocoon of sensation that renders them unable to resist the urge to groove along with the track’s whimsical melody. Sonically vibrating between electropop and indie-rock, the genre-agnostic band peels back the first layer of what fans can expect out of their next body of work.

Following the release of their 2021 #1 ARIA Chart-topping fourth album LOVE SIGNS, the band has cemented their place as a dominant force down under and is now seeing their reach mushroom out across the globe.

Tonight, they kick off a run of headline shows in Mexico. Earlier this month, they brought their free-spirited antics to the stages of Florida’s Okeechobee Festival and M3F in Arizona.

“We are so pumped to be releasing Trippin Up! It all began with a dive into some aspects of electronic drum production that were so fun to experiment with. Can’t wait to see that drop live baby,” says Sam Hales, the group’s vocalist, guitarist and producer.

Over the coming months, The Jungle Giants will have no shortage of exciting and mysterious trails to follow towards the release of their fifth album.

ABOUT THE JUNGLE GIANTS

With well over half a billion streams worldwide and the #1 ARIA-charting fourth album LOVE SIGNS under their belts, The Jungle Giants are undeniably Australian indie-rock royalty.

Known for delivering explosive, high-energy live performances, the band is comprised of Sam Hales (vocalist/ guitarist/ songwriter/ producer), lead guitarist Cesira Aitken, bassist Andrew Dooris and drummer Keelan Bijker.

Constantly evolving their genre-agnostic sound, The Jungle Giants set out in pursuit of their fifth studio album with the release of its first single ‘Trippin Up.’ Fueled by buoyant melodies and infectious choruses, this release is the next evolution of a band that refuses to sit still.

The last year has seen the band headlining festivals and selling out tour dates from hemisphere to hemisphere. So far in 2023, The Jungle Giants have played Okeechobee and M3F Festivals in the United States, as well as Laneway Festival in their home country. The rest of the year will see many more global tour dates to be announced.

Driven by optimism, creative freedom and a desire to “go weird, go funny, and not be scared,” The Jungle Giants are paving the way for their continued metamorphosis.
