The Soul Rebels, an eight-piece New Orleans horn band are making their way to New Zealand after playing Byron Bay next year. Here is founding member Lumar LeBlanc.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Lumar as he was riding to the Houston airport on his way back home to New Orleans. The band released their most recent album, Poetry In Motion in 2019 and with perform in New Zealand along with GZA, Talib Kwili and Big Freedia.
