Translator Front Man Steve Barton Goes Beyond Today: 13th Floor MusicTalk Interview
Translator was (and occasionally still is) a band based in San Francisco who put out 4 albums in the early 80s before calling it quits in 1986 with a 3-hour blow-out concert.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Translator front man Steve Barton about how and why that show has just now been released as: Beyond Today – Live At The Farm San Francisco 1986. We also ask Steve what, if anything, he remembers from the night and if the two new songs added to the album indicated that Translator’s days may not be over.
BEYOND TODAY INCLUDES A LIVE RECORDING OF A PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED VINTAGE TRACK, “PUZZLES,” AS WELL AS TWO NEW SONGS MIXED BY ED STASIUM
Available on LP, CD & download from Liberation Hall
