UK Singer-Songwriter Andreas Jensen To Play Auckland Solo Gig

Dub Pistols’ Andreas S Jensen plays a solo gig on February 25th at Frieda
Margolis, Grey Lynn, Auckland. Andreas is a London, United Kingdom based singer-songwriter, producer and musician.

Andreas’ upcoming album Keep Sane, with first single War Is Fair, is in the
pipeline to be released in spring 2019. The album features a collection of
songs inspired by Andreas’ many visits to songwriter retreat ‘The House Of
Songs’ in Austin,Texas – and is packed with Americana and Alt country
influences, a clear departure from Andreas’ 2017 indie rock inspired debut
album Disturbed.
All three singles from Disturbed where supported by BBC6 Music and
received a good amount of radio play in the UK and abroad, with hundreds of
stations joining in while the album received great reviews on blogs and online
mags.
LIVE Andreas performs the songs stripped down and acoustic, solo, as a
duo, and occasionally as a three piece band.

Background:
With a head full of songs Andreas moved to London from native Denmark and
soon got signed as a writer/producer/remixer collaborating with people as
diverse as: DJ-producer Armand Van Helden, dancehall star Kevin Lyttle and
cool songstress Nerina Pallot. Through all this Andreas kept focus on the
songwriting and as a session musician with a hefty live gig schedule. From
2011 he got involved in recordings with ultra busy drum’n’bass/reggae festival
act the Dub Pistols (playing Splore Festival again this year) and soon he was
touring the world with the band. Andreas has been gigging and releasing his
solo material since 2014.
