Yesterday it was Chicago, today its Texas where we find guitar-toting Ally Venable telling The 13th Floor all about her new album, Heart Of Fire.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Ally from her home in tiny Kilgore, Texas. The town may be small, but the blues legacy in Texas in huge with folks like T-Bone Walker, Billy Gibbons, Freddie King, Albert Collins, Gary Clark Jr and, of course SRV.
Looks like you may need to add Ally Venable to that list as the 21-year-old guitarist is proving to be a talent to watch. Her new album, Heart Of Fire features guest spots from Devon Allman and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
