Blue Note Sax player Dave McMurray releases Grateful Deadication this Friday. Here he is to tell us all about it.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to saxophonist Dave McMurray about making Grateful Deadication, his re-interpretation of Grateful Dead classics such as Estimated Prophet, Touch Of Grey and Dark Star.

McMurray has been making music for over 50 years sitting in with the likes of Dylan, The Stones and Patti Smith and he has some stories to tell. Check out his remembrance of making Voodoo Lounge with The Rolling Stones.
