Watch: Director Justin Pemberton Discusses ‘Capital in the 21st Century’
Kiwi director Justin Pemberton dropped in to The 13th Floor to talk about his new film, Capitalism in the 21st Century, which is premiering at the New Zealand International Film Festival. Based on economist Thomas Piketty’s bestselling book, it’s been described as “a sweeping – and sobering – account of the way that concentrated wealth has both shaped our past and is creating a deeply unequal future.”
Watch as Justin and Marty discuss global and NZ affects of current trends.
