13th Floor New Song Of The Day: Jackie Bristow – Blue Moon Rising
Start your Thursday morning off with new music from Jackie Bristow.
The Gore native…now based in Nashville…has just released Blue Moon Rising, a brassy, sassy slice of bluesy Americana. Here’s the story behind the song:
“The song was inspired by a New Zealand artist Ivan Clarke and his art series called ‘The Lonely Dogs’. It is about cats and dogs, the felines and bitches on their way to a big rock concert in a little town called Port Alveridge, which is just outside Queenstown. The concert happens every seven years when the Blue Moon Rises.”
