Academy Cinemas Announces New Streaming Service
Coming soon – Academy On Demand. Streaming curated classics and exciting recent releases direct to your lounge.
Academy Cinemas may be closed temporarily, but they’ve been working on a new streaming service called Academy On Demand, to bring you the best independent, foreign and classic titles via their website.
Starting mid next week, fans of Academy Cinemas will be able to rent a quality recent release or classic title for seven days for between $4.99 and $7.99. They will be curating films via monthly staff picks, continuing their $5 Wednesday specials, and constantly updating their catalogue to share their favourite films with fans!
