Alejandro Escovedo Cancels Christchurch Show

Dear friends,
With sadness we announce the cancellation of tonight’s show with Alejandro Escovedo
it just didnt seem quite right…
…Music is right, communion is right, singing is right, togetherness is right and they will all come in their time (soon!)
but today it seemed to be right to be peaceful, to be with friends and family and at home, to let the staff rest and the songs be sung inside.
Alejandro says,
“We feel the weight of the loss and want to respect everybody in this time of mourning. it has impacted us greatly. We will return and want to help in any way possible in Christchurch and New Zealand’s recovery from this.”
ticket holders should be receiving refunds as we speak from the ticket outlets and those coming to the door, there’s lots of great spots to send the money to right now…
