Calexico’s Joey Burns Pays Tribute To Shane MacGowan
Here’s is Calexico’s Joey Burns expressing his admiration for Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan who passed away age 65.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda was talking to Joey today about Calexico’s upcoming New Zealand shows. Noting that the band had just performed in Dublin, Marty asked Joey if he had any thoughts on the recently deceased Shane MacGowan. Joey’s response wad thoughtful, eloquent and poignant.
