Darden Smith Looks To The Western Skies: Interview

Darden Smith releases his new album, Western Skies, today. Its his 16th album, and Darden just celebrated his 60th birthday. But those are just numbers as Darden sounds as vital as when he began recording back in 1986.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Darden Smith who was at his studio in Austin, Texas. Western Skies isn’t just an album, there’s a book, photographs, essays…all inspired by the West Texas landscape. Here he is to tell us all about it.
