Julia Bardo Shares Breakfast with The 13th Floor
Julia Bardo is excited! She’s just released her debut album, Bauhaus, L’Appartamento and here she is, fresh out of the shower, on release day, talking to The 13th Floor.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Julia who was in her apartment in Manchester getting ready for a big day as her new album was released to an unsuspecting public. Julia moved from her native Italy to Manchester just five years ago and is hard at work building her musical career.
Although she’s moved to Manchester, Julia’s not necessarily a fan of that city’s iconic bands (The Smiths, Joy Division) but rather 90s sounds made by the likes of PJ Harvey, The Breeders and The Pixies.
So, sit back and enjoy the conversation as Julia chats about her music while munching down some home-made Nutella (she shares the recipe at the end).
