The 13th Floor’s Jemilah Ross-Hayes chats to Mackenzie from Juno Is, the September pick for Live Nation & Vodafone’s Ones To Watch, about an album in the works and how they managed to stay creative during lockdown.

Live Nation & Vodafone’s ‘Ones to Watch’ programme, highlights a new rising Kiwi musician every month. This month’s pick is Juno Is, self-described ‘psychedelic dream rockers’ from Ōtepoti Dunedin.

Fronted by Mackenzie Hollebon, Juno Is’ debut album is in the works, after the success of their debut EP It’s No Groover which dropped in 2020. They released the single Floating Alone in January of this year, and have toured with other Live Nation touring artists Wax Mustang, Daffodils, and Aussie indie-rockers The Chats.
