King Ketchup have just released a new single and video titled Gunmetal Grey.
Here’s what they’ve told us about it:
Inspired by a home robbery, the song is a love letter to a stolen instrument, and the confusing loss felt for an inanimate object that was nonetheless held in affection.
The video itself is a zero budget, semi hallucinatory creation, with liberal green screen use.
King Ketchup are playing this Saturday the 22nd at The Wine Cellar, with support from For The Girl Who Has Everything, and Venom Dolls.
King Ketchup has been on the gig circuit since 2019, giving wild, high-energy live performances around Tāmaki Makaurau bending genres of garage, punk, and rock. Members are from acts and bands; New Telepathics, DHDFD’s, Scarlett Lashes, Cindy & Water.
