Loretta Lynn Has Died at Age 90 (R.I.P.)
Loretta Lynn, the Coal Miner’s Daughter, has died in her sleep at home, age 90.
Lynn began her illustrious recording career in 1960 with I’m A Honky Tonk Girl, recorded in Los Angeles. It became a hit due to Loretta and her husband “Doo”‘s persistent promotion.

From then on it was one country classic after another…You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take MY Man), Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind) and Coal Miner’s Daughter which later became an acclaimed film starring Sissy Spacek.
More recently, Loretta collaborated with Jack White, releasing Van Lear Rose in 2004.
