The song “Sweetest Summer” is the first single from the upcoming album “Hope and Heart”. Musically, the guitar sways and saunters while Marc’s vocals gracefully glide across each note, creating a haunting melody. This song showcases Marc’s songwriting versatility and is a stark contrast to his previous upbeat releases with his old band, Echotape.

Marc Burford is a talented songwriter and producer with a deep passion for
music. He specialises in Folk & Indie Rock and has collaborated with big names
such as The Knocks, Parson James, Mumiy Troll, Graham Candy, and
Echotape. Marc’s music has been featured in popular media, including the
award-winning TV series Brooklyn 99, Sky News, and Topshop and River
Island stores. His music has also been showcased in some of London’s most
prestigious art galleries, the Tate Modern & Tate Britain, for Tracy Moberly’s
art installation.
Marc’s music portfolio has gained over 10 million streams and has received

Monkeys, Clean Bandit), and Cameron Blackwood (George Ezra, Florence and
the Machine).
Marc has a love for performing live, which developed when he toured as a
singer and guitarist for Echotape. They played in various countries, including
Europe, America, and Russia. The band also headlined the V-ROX festival in
Vladivostok to a crowd of 15,000 and finished with a final show in the UK for
Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

his first audiobook last year, “The House of Slamming Doors,” a coming-of-age
Irish novel that received high praise from actor and writer Stephen Fry.
Marc currently works from his recording studio, Sunrise Sound, in Hampshire.
He recently composed the title track for a feature film called “Backmask,”
directed by Baker & Finch, which is set to release in 2024.
Marc’s first solo album, “Hope and Heart,” is highly anticipated for release in
2024.
