Martha Wainwright Re-Emerges With Love Will Be Reborn
Martha Wainwright has had a rough few years…a messy divorce, custody issues…you know, life. Here she is to tell us how she made a silk purse out of a sow’s ear (metaphorically speaking, of course) with her new album, Love Will Be Reborn.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Martha who is a home in Montreal. But, as we learn, Martha has been venturing out and playing a few gigs, including one last week where her dear ol’ dad Loudon showed up and helped out.
Not that she needs any help. At age 45, Martha is ready for a new beginning.

Ta;lk about the apple not falling far from the tree, the vocal similarities to Annie and Kate are remarkable. Saw her open for her dad years ago in Wellington and she started with an a cappela song which I thought foolish but then I realised how much she was he own woman
