Here’s the blurb with more:

Christchurch four-piece Pieces of Molly have released their new fast-paced rock song ‘Don’t Shine a Light into the Dark’.

Pieces Of Molly

Off the back of an epic Australia/NZ tour with Californian stoner rock legends Sasquatch, this new visceral hard-rock offering is all about embracing the darkness that surrounds us in everyday life. “Some things are meant to be dangerous, and should stay dangerous,” says lead singer Ewen Glasgow. “Musically, it has the hard rock signatures that embodies us as artists. Riffs, screaming vocals, a ripping guitar solo, thunderous bass and a driving drum beat along with a bludgeoning drum solo.”

‘Don’t Shine A Light Into The Dark’ is the follow-up to their rock-anthem ‘I Don’t Wanna’, and the final release before their debut album drops on 28 October. Known for their electric performances, Ōtautahi Christchurch fans are being treated to a special release show at 12 Bar on November 5 – where they can also get buy the album on vinyl! Pieces Of MollyPieces of Molly is made up of Ewen Glasgow (lead guitar/vocals), Doug Stewart (bass, backing vocals), Sam Kubiak (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Kurt Fleming (drums, percussion, backing vocals). Once again Adam Hogan and Josh Logan from Christchurch’s Loho Studio, have worked their magic on this track, followed by Samuel K Sproull mastering.

Forming in 2012, they’ve released 2 EPs and 7 singles, including ‘I Don’t Wanna’, Spirit Man’ and ‘Dead Sky’, which have been blasted on The Rock FM and Radio Hauraki. Alongside their high-energy shows on tours across New Zealand and Australia, the band have played well-known festivals such as River Range, Mojo Burning, and Dead of Winter. They’ve also played support slots for International bands such as Radio Moscow, Anvil, 1000mods, Wo Fat and local legends Head Like A Hole, Beastwars and The Datsuns.
