Premiere! Ainslie Allen Releases New Video

You Think You’re (Better Than Me) is the 3rd single release from Country Artist Ainslie Allen. It’s from her upcoming Album Betty which is due to release later this year.

Ainslie AllenThe song is accompanied by a video filmed in Ainslie’s hometown of Titahi Bay, New Zealand with million-dollar views of Mana Island and surrounding Porirua locations. Shot with good guys Brent Schuster of Phantom Star Pictures, Ainslie (Rongowhakaata) says, ‘I wrote this song as an ode to those who have travelled loves lost journey, I feel this 3rd single gives people another taste of what’s to come from my album’.

With an impressive career to date, she started her own band the Avocardo Babies, and headlined the hugely well-known and successful Weta and Fur Patrol.

The Avocardo Babies were considered the crowd favourites as well as the most popular band in the Smokefree Rock Quest.

Because of her unique vocal ability and dedication, she was chosen to star in ‘McDonald’s Young Entertainers’ which was the most popular television show of its time and made her a household name throughout the country resulting in securing the extremely coveted role of singing national anthems for the top teams of world rugby today, reaching an international audience of millions.

Ainslie is also a mentor for Girls Rock Pōneke, and is instrumental in developing and shaping the careers of a lot of very successful and well-known artists of today.

Ainslie AllenDue to Ainslie’s success through her sheer vehemence and true-blue style, she was asked to travel to East Timor’s war zone on a good will mission along with New Zealand’s comedy elite Mike King, Te Radar, Cal Wilson, the late Ewan Gilmore, and slapstick Brendhan Lovegrove to cheer up the moral of the New Zealand and Australian forces.

Ainslie has performed numerous times at New Zealand’s biggest out door live concert to date, ‘Coca Cola Christmas in the Park’ that attracts over 250,000 revellers every year.

She starred in Auckland Theatre Company’s successful productions of ‘Hair’ and ‘The Rocky Horror Show’.

Her enthusiasm for stonking music took her to Sydney Australia, where she formed an all-girl band ‘The Rockettes’ and also often joined our own Kiwi icon John Rowles, opening his show throughout OZ and New Zealand
