LanewayReforest x Laneway Festival

With the tour just around the corner, Laneway Festival is proud to share that we’ve been working with Reforest to take steps to reduce our emissions and create a regenerative environmental legacy across Aotearoa in 2024. Some of the festival’s efforts include utilisinge lectric and hybrid cars, funding independently verified projects to offset CO2 from flights, and planting trees on behalf of every artist on the lineup.

Want to be involved? Help us plant trees through Reforest and you will go in the draw to win a VIP upgrade in your city (18+) or a Laneway Festival Merch pack.

Looking After Yourself and Friends x Laneway Festival

There will be two dedicated ‘Relax, Recharge, Rehydrate’ spaces for all festival goers. If you need a place to retreat out of the heat with seating and additional support available, this is the spot to head to.

The NZ Drug Foundation is holding a free drug checking clinic the day before Laneway, from 1:30pm to 7pm on Monday 5 February at Hall 1, Western Springs Garden Community Hall (956 Great North Road, Western Springs). Drugs are prohibited at Laneway, but we know that some people will still choose to use them, including before entering the event. We encourage them to make use of this service.

Drug checking is a free, legal and confidential service that tells you what is in your drugs so you can make informed choices and stay safer.

Drug checking won’t be available inside Laneway, but the Drug Foundation will be hosting a harm reduction tent where they’ll be chatting about staying safer if you’re using drugs and sharing information about anything dangerous found at the pre-event clinic.

Laneway Festival aims to create a culture of respect and care for one another and festival goers are asked to please look out for themselves and others at the event.

With no sideshows, Laneway Festival is the only place to see the Laneway Festival lineup in New Zealand this summer. Get your tickets now from lanewayfestival.com.au/auckland
