QuinQuis Brings The Sound Of Brittany To The World
QuinQuis is Émilie Tierson. Her new album, SEIM, is just out on Mute Records. Émilie has written all 10 songs in Breton, the native language of her home in Brittany, France.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Émilie who is making her way across North American, speaking and singing in Breton whenever possible. We caught up to her in Chicago where she shared her experiences making SEIM.
