R.I.P. D.J. Fontana (Elvis Presley drummer)
D.J. Fontana has died at age 87.
Fontana played drums for Elvis Presley and can be heard on most of Presley’s greatest hits including Don’t Be Cruel, Viva Las Vegas, Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock. He made up one of the great rock & roll bands of the 1950s along with guitarist Scotty Moore and bass player Bill Black.
