R.I.P. Dick Dale (King Of The Surf Guitar)
Sadly, we’ve learned that Dick Dale has passed away at the age of 81.
Dick Dale, with his group, The Deltones, were at the top of the surf-rock scene in the early 60s. Their recording of Misirlou is a classic, known by many when it was used in the opening credits of Pulp Fiction.
Dick Dale continued performing til the end, despite suffering many health issues.
