Ride’s Mark Gardener on Interplay and A Veteran Band That’s Still Hungry: 13th Floor Interview
Ride has been making music on and off since 1988. The Oxford shoegazers’ new album is called Interplay and here is vocalist/guitarist Mark Gardener to tell us how and why this is their most collaborative album to date.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Mark who was in his OX4 Sound Studio where Interplay began to take shape. Its the day before release day and Mark has been up since early morning, talking to BBC Radio 4 and us here at 13th Floor. The band is about to hit the road on a tour that will bring them to New Zealand later this year.
