This week, along with reviewing new albums by Kaylee Bell, Delaney Davidson, Adrianne Lenker and The Jesus And Mary Chain, the panel of respected music journalists addresses the controversies surrounding Ziggy Marley’s recent appearance at WOMAD where protesters encouraged festivalgoers to boycott Marley’s performance due to his efforts in 2018 to raise funds for the Israel Defence Force.

The panel also discusses the decisions of Kiwi artists Vera Ellen and Georgia Nott who pulled out of performing at South By Southwest after learning that the US music festival is sponsored and has partnerships with several tech companies who manufacture weapons for the IDF and that the US Army is one of six “Super Sponsors”.
