Still Missing Bowie: Two recently unearthed tracks and a Livestream Tribute

After spending last night spinning David Bowie discs at Whammy, this morning we thought we’d share these two rarities with you on this, the fifth anniversary of the great man’s death.

These two covers, recorded by Bowie were just released. One is David’s version of John Lennon’s Mother. The other finds The Thin White Duke taking on Dylan’s Tryin’ To Get To Heaven.

The 3 hour show will feature performances by just about every musician still with us who recorded with Bowie along with Ian Hunter, Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan and Anna Calvi among many, many others.
