Still Rockin’: No Tag’s Andrew Boak (Interview)
Straight outta West Auckland, 4-piece punk band, No Tag played blistering sets to super-charged fans, desperate to let off a bit of steam. But that was 30 years ago. Now, the four members of No Tag are back together, but only briefly, scheduled to play a short set at The Kings Arms along with their old friends Spelling Mistakes, X-Features, The Cavemen and The Bankrobbers on Saturday, Sept. 5th. . The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda tracked down Andrew Boak, guitarist for No Tag, who had just flown in from San Francisco for the reunion. Watch them as they discuss the band’s heyday from the site where it all happened, the stage of Auckland’s Winsdor Castle.
