The weather was not ideal, in fact it was very damp, but that didn’t keep music lovers away from this year’s Others Ways Festival as nearly 50 acts played across 10 venues over 7 hours.

The festival season kicked off on Saturday with the inaugural Spring City from the Endeavour Live team, and finally, clear blue skies.
Tame Impala were last in New Zealand in 2017 and a cancelled show in 2020 meant that Saturday night at Spark Arena was the first time they have performed in NZ in seven years.
Ladyhawke fourth album Time Flies takes its place over the surreal times of contagion, and closer to home is prefaced by a major health crisis and the birth of a daughter. The music is sophisticated Pop full of hooks and joyful energy. It is also light on its feet and swings.
