The Dirty Three have just released Love Changes Everything…at least physically…the digital version is out this Friday. Here is Jim White to tell us how and why he, Warren Ellis and Mick Turner reunited to make this, their first new album in 12 years.
Melbourne instrumental/experimental trio of Warren Ellis, Mick Turner, and Jim White – The Dirty Three, never broke up, they haven’t released an album since 2012 because they’ve been a bit busy, and they live in Paris, Melbourne and New York respectively, so getting together has been a bit tricky.
The Dirty Three are a) back, b) tangled in seaweed, rank with saltwater and possessed of three rather ominous thousand-mile stares (at least!), and c) not wasting another minute — as nothing is guaranteed.
