The Long Ryders have just released September October. Reeling from the death of bass player Tom Stevens, here are Sid Griffin and Greg Sowders to explain how and why they carry on.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Sid and Greg on the eve of the release of September October. This veteran ‘paisley underground’ band started out way back in 1982 and three of the four bandmates are still rocking. This fifth studio album follows the acclaimed 2019 release, Psychedelic Country Soul and serves as a fitting tribute to late bassist Tom Stevens.
