The Paper Kites release their new album, At The Roadhouse, tomorrow. Here is bandleader Sam Bentley to tell us how they built their own American-style Roadhouse in rural Australia.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Sam, who was in his home studio in Melbourne, to find out how and why the band took up residency in an old roadside property at Campbell’s Creek they called The Roadhouse.
The result is an album brimming with 16 new songs…with more in the can…and there is a feature length film not far behind.
