Here’s the guys from Whitney talking to The 13th Floor about their new album, Candid.

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda spoke to Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek, two of the driving forces behind the band, Whitney. Julien and Max are hunkered down on Portland, Oregon and happy to talk about Candid. And well they should be. Its a collection of 10 cover songs but other than their version of Take Me Home, Country Road, you may be hard-pressed to recognize the rest.

Max and Julien have chosen songs from an eclectic mix of artists…The Roches to Moondog to Blaze Foley. Incredibly, it still sounds very much like a Whitney album, and a beautiful one at that.
