Watch: MusicTalk with John Doe of X
Veteran LA punk band X took everyone by surprise when they released a new album, Alphabetland, earlier this year.
This is the first time the original quartet had been in the studio together in 30+ years.
The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda felt the need to track down X’s bassist John Doe and find out how this wonderful event took place.
Turns out John is living in Austin, Texas, where we found him riding out the lockdown. Check out the interview where Marty and John talk music, politics and interpersonal relationships. Oh, and watch the beginning where Canadian popster Jessy Lanza inadvertently joins in. Gotta love Zoom!
