Ainslie AllenAward-winning country artist Ainslie Allen gives fans a taste of what’s to come on her upcoming debut album BETTY, with today’s release of her stirring new single ‘Maserati’.

Ainslie describes ‘Maserati’ as a “dreamer’s song”. Honest and poignant, it tells the story of a single mother wanting to make the best life possible for her son. “It’s relatable to many parents and caregivers throughout the world,” she says.

With a swampy sound of dobro and acoustic guitar, cleverly produced and mixed by the legendary Ben Edwards at the Sitting Room in Lyttelton, ‘Maserati’ showcases Ainslie’s mesmerising vocals and the depth and vulnerability of her song-writing.

The single is accompanied by a video filmed at the Wairarapa Country Music Festival in January 2021 by Hans Weston Films.

Ainslie’s first album BETTY will be released in May. It will contain the already-released single ‘Done and Gone’ alongside ‘Maserati’ and a host of new songs, which leave no question – 2021 is Ainslie Allen’s year!
