X-Ambassadors – The Powerstation – 4 Feb 2020: Concert Photos

13th Floor photographer Chris Zwaagdyk was on hand to shoot X-Ambassadors and The Sweet Mix Kids at the Powerstation last night. He files this short report and a brilliant set of photos of both bands.

Kicking off at 8:30pm, Sweet Mix Kids put on a solid 30 mins opening for X-Ambassadors, warming up the smaller than usual crowd at the Powerstation – probably because there were 3 other gigs on a very warm Tuesday night.

By the time that X-Ambassadors came on just after 10pm (due to technical probs) the crowd had cooled but were patient and quickly got into the opening Hey Child, quickly followed by Jungle – these were die hard fans and the band did not let them down. Soon the crowd was singing, dancing and mimicking Sam Harris. See the full set list in the photos for the night.
