AmericanaFest 2022: Day 4: September 17 Special Report

AmericanaFest 2022 happened in Nashville in September and The 13th Floor was there. Here’s our report on Day 4 (Better later than never).

The 13th Floor’s Marty Duda attended the 5-day AmericanaFest 2022 in Nashville from September 13-17. Click here for our Day 3 report.

Day 4:

On Day 3 we caught a showcase performance by up-and-coming Country singer-songwriter Brit Taylor. So, this following day we started by heading over to The Westin Hotel to have a chat with Brit. Watch the interview here:

Then we (Marty and photographer Susannah Marks) spent the afternoon shopping and day-drinking until we me up with fellow Kiwis Jackie Bristow (singer-songwriter) and Brent Kennedy (Uptown Business Assoc.)

With Jackie and Brent in tow, we spent the evening at the Nashville City Winery enjoying a a string of exceptional live artists starting at 7pm with Rainbow Girls

 

Then at 8 it was Tim and Ruston Kelly

 

 

 

 

9pm brought on Guatemalan Americana artist Gaby Moreno. Here’s a bit of her set…

 

And then finally, it was one of Australia’s finest, Henry Wagons, to close out the night.
