New Song Of The Day: Troy Kingi & The Nudge – He Ōrite
Today we have a Troy Trifecta! Troy Kingi has teamed up with Wellington band The Nudge and we have the new song, video and an interview.
It seems Troy never sleeps. Hot on the heels of his recent collaboration with Delaney Davis (Black Sea Golden Ladder) here is Troy’s new single and video for their song, He Ōrite. As you’ll see with the accompanying interview with Troy and Nudge-man Iraia Whakamoe, they are very proud of this “blues/psychedelic track written & performed entirely in Te Reo”.
The video is released today and the interview, recorded at our 13th Floor Studio, was recorded this past Friday. As you’ll learn, Troy has been going full-on since then, possibly recording an entire new album this week! Details are in the interview…
